Perama is a village located 6,5 km south of the Corfu airport, built along the east coast of the island. Perama has a spectacular view of the airport and the Mouse Island, or Pontikonisi as the locals call it, and it’s connected to Kanoni by a pedestrian bridge built across the bay. This village is also popular for the Kaiser Bridge, that used to connect the dock to the Achilleion Palace. Perama has olive groves and two bays with pebbles and warm waters. In Perama you can find many accommodation options, such as hotels, villas, rooms to let and more. It’s easily accessible as it’s mostly built on the main road that connects the town to the south of the island, and with numerous restaurants, bars, and shops, it’s a popular touristic resort.
