Agios Georgios North (Pagi) is a seaside village at the northwest of Corfu, located at a 31km distance from Corfu airport. It was mostly built and expanded after the 1980’s, due to the developement of tourism on the island. The area is named after the church of Saint George, which is one of the oldest buildings in the village, reported to exist since the 18^th century. Agios Georgios has a 2km long sandy beach, popular for its clear and cold waters, ideal for relaxing holidays by the sea.
